Color Options
Well the rug has come in and I LOVE IT!!! I almost want to redo my living room just so I can put the rug up there :) But I won't do that! I have narrowed my options to three colors all from Glidden. Below is the photo with the three options.
Also, here is the rug that I purchased from Urban Outfitters.
It is full of vibrant colors which I love but I wanted to stay neutral with the wall color and add some of the rug colors into a cool wall feature I am going to do (pictures/project info will follow).

Laundry Room-Before
As I promised here are my before pictures of my laundry room...not pretty!
The good news is I have plenty of room to work with and a blank canvas. I do have some challenges to overcome. We have a system in our basement that channels water so I will not be able to put any nails into the wall behind the washer and dryer but I will definitely find a way to work around that.
Over the next few weeks I hope to turn this awful space into a retreat of sorts! I will post pictures and projects along the way so become a follower of my blog and sign up for email updates.

Here We Go
Thank you for stopping by my new blog. I am known by my friends and family as a very organized person yet I continually find my house (and car) in a state of clutter. I have decided to make a change and finally get my house organized the way I want it. My plan is to pick one room at a time in my house and start getting them organized one by one. I will take before and after pictures and post them on here and my Facebook page along with supply lists for my projects and DIY instructions. My hope is that you not only follow my progress, but that I can inspire you to start "An Organizing Day" of your own!
The first room I plan on tackling is the.....laundry room! Usually the laundry room is last on the list but as you know we end up spending a ton of time in there (whether we want to or not) so why not make it a beautiful space that is clutter free and everything you need is in the right place!
